Shouldn't that needle be at 8 in sports mode?

YES! However, I was at a stop light when I had this thought. I'm pretty sure I would be CrAzY to try and hold on to the wheel and take a picture at top speed.

We're all different. I like a nice, soft comfortable ride. In fact, I came this close || to buying a new M6 (it's a fantastic car) but the ride is just too stiff for me for an everyday drive on our occasionally lousy roads.

I suspect that the roads in and around San Diego are better than average since you guys don't have to worry about big temperature changes, snow, salt, etc. that tear up many of our roads in the East.

I change mine frequently. Mostly in "dynamic" mode, but sometimes, I will soften the ride and steering and quiet the exhaust when driving long distance freeway miles. Most common for everyday around town, I use the individual setting and keep the steering, shift points, and exhaust in dynamic and the suspension in comfort. Just a little softer and smoother around town.

As I've gotten older I prefer a more cushioned ride. I drive my daily driver in comfort mode.
For days that I feel more energetic, I drive my sports car.

The temperature is pretty consistent here but the road conditions are pretty poor. Potholes everywhere you look, ladders and mattresses falling off the back of trucks etc. Have to drive in competition mode most of the time to avoid all if it lol.

I honestly dont get why there is a comfort mode on sports cars/sedans. The throttle lag is ridiculous, the shifts are long, soft and feel like it lacks engagement, there is way too much play in the steering and the exhaust sound is muffled. I honestly dont feel like I'm even driving a car and the computers are doing most of the work.

All sport or most aggressive/driver interactive setting at all times for me. The only time I'll go out of sport is for long freeway commutes at higher speeds where I want to be in the highest gear. Like on the CA autobahn through Pendleton.

We have our share of road hazards here in San Diego, CA. I will run the shocks in Comfort around town sometimes too and always on a long road trip.

Ha! I’ve clocked some 100+ speeds on that stretch too. The flat desert on the I-10 to AZ is another rally point!

You would be surprised at how bad some of the roads are around here quite frankly. Not as bad as upstate NY though.

My car is almost always in sport mode with suspension also in sport mode. Although, the difference between sport and comfort mode on my car is like the difference between firm and slightly less firm.

I rode my motorcycle to work today. Suspension is set to touring mode with the engine map set to sport mode. It is bone jarring with the suspension set to sport mode. Would probably be good for the track though.
