Namisu Nova in Titanium
This is really one of the more interesting pens I’ve picked up in a while. The stonewashed finish is nice but I think the pen would do better with a satin media blasted option. I think this used to be available but didn’t see it when I ordered. I might actually heat oxidize the pen. There’s no plastic in the body, cap, or section with the pen stripped and it’s a good chunk of titanium. Needs a little “pop” I guess. It’s very very simple and basic. I suppose that’s the intent but a brushed or blasted finish would do much better for the design. Also I would love to have a clip!
These Bock Ti nibs are very interesting! It reminds me of a Visconti palladium nib somewhat. Not as springy under normal writing but the wetness and feedback are very close to my Visconti Millionaire in medium. I’ll definitely be buying more of these Ti nibs! The other interesting thing is the pen doesn’t say Namisu on it anywhere. The nib is stamped Bock and the converter, Schmidt.

Hey I found a Namisu logo laser engraved on the section! Talk about minimalism!
