FSOT: 1993 Tudor Chronograph Big Block 79160 PANDA dial

Model: Tudor Big Block Chronograph Ref. 79160
Serial: B5XXXXX (1993)
Materials: Steel case with bakelite bezel
Movement: 7750 Valjoux automatic movement with quickset date. It hasn't been officially timed but it keeps great time for daily wear.
Case: 43mm with 20mm drilled lugs. Watch has thick lugs so it can be polished without worry, but I do not polish my watches.

Dial: Excellent white porcelain dial with black sub-dials
Bracelet: Excellent 78360 Tudor Bracelet with 12 links and 589 end pieces. Great condifition for it’s age showing minimal stretch. Clasp closes and locks firmly in place as if it were new.
Accessories: Box (covered in packing tape) and Service Papers.

This early Tudor chronograph reference shares much in common with the big brother Rolex Daytona ref. 6263, including the same bezel with the black bakelite tachometer insert as well as the Rolex Triple Lock crown and screw down pushers. The dial on this specific watch is also very similar to the Rolex Daytona's of this era as it has stick applied markers on a porcelain white surface and black stepped subdials with the white chronograph hands located within the subdials. The movement is a Valjoux 7750 signed Tudor, and appears to be running within COSC standards but not has been officially timed.

Asking $5650.00 OBO shipped from Atlanta, Georgia.

Trades of Patek and Rolex welcome. Overnight shipping and insurance is included in the USA.
