Tried on my grail yesterday

Oh my... I've never felt something so perfect, the size is perfect, the weight is perfect and that blue is perfect!

Hulk would have to do it for next year in the meanwhile but now I'm 100% sure what my long time plan is.

We just need to agree on a better nickname for it because Smurf is insulting.
It’s the Ultimate. Or something cleverer that isn’t springing to mind. Looks great. Always has.

Cant argue with that being your grail. In my case, the only way I could justify it is if I sell my D-Blue and BLNR. Don't think I can do that.

YET....

I concur. Smurf, Hulk, Batman, I don't think any of them do their respective watches justice.

I tried on the grail here once, and thought it was fabulous. Too many greenbacks for me, but I sure do see the appeal!

Beautiful watch. Sub date in any color looks great, but that blue is stunning!

Beautiful, no doubt. It'd be perfect in steel and with tapered lugs :-).

When my eye go bad and I can't read the Platinum Daytona dial, I'm buying that watch and giving the daytona to the wife, who wants it ASAP. Maybe next year.

I'm right there with you, this would be the only watch I would sell my LV Sub for. I thikn the sub should be SS as it is a tool watch but this blows that notion away. I tried it on a few months ago and it echoed what you wrote about perfection. Also the blue reminds me of the Bahamas ocean blue I encountered when I went diving earlier this year. The nicest blue on a watch IMO.

My grail as well. In fact, it's the Rolex I had in mind when I wanted to get my first one. My heart broke when I found out it only came in WG...

I hope to have it one day, however a gold Rolex is a bit unrealistic at this point so it just remains a dream at this point.
