Depends on how they fit on your wrist and your style. One is more classic looking and the other more bling.

I like this one and fits me better

If you bought the sd 16600 new, keep it...They’re discontinued. You can always buy a new submariner later on if you want it back.

have had both and regret letting go of the SD. As others have stated, the ND Sub is still in production and can be reacquired down the road should you opt to go that route.

Keep the 16600. Two reasons.
One, the current sub can always be repurchased and if it is complete and in good shape with as short as the SS supply is right now you will do ok selling it.
Two, I think that the 16600’s are still undervalued. Not sure why but eventually everyone will catch on and they will take off in price.

Can't take anything away from the SD, that's one great piece but if I had to chose one (I did) had to go for the Sub being I like the proportions of the 6 digit sub, better for me. Actually I traded my 14060m for it.

Having a 2008 SD and a 114060.......

If I could only keep one.......

I would keep the SD.

But could you part with this one?

I’d keep the SD. In fact; I did. Been in your shoes. As others said, you can easily repurchase the sub. However if the wider lugs, appearance of more wrist presence and glide lock bracelet are important to you, then the Sub would win. I have had both and kept the 16600 SD. Traded the newer sub away.

I have a 116610ln on right now. As a new purchase I'd go modern. If I somehow had both, I could never let the SD go.
This to me is an easy choice. Let go of the sub.

My opinion...

Option 1: Keep Both
Option 2: Keep SD
