Rolex daytona WG vs RG???

First off. Hello and happy new year all!
Would like you guys opinions please...
Ive had my heart set on getting this RG daytona now for years and recently have cone across a time where i can pull the trigger on it. Always wanted a RG daytona on strap, I thought no watch could compare but sometimes when you look at something for so long you almost start finding flaws. Dark dial, cluttered dial etc....i still love it BUT recently i have fallen in love with the WG version...its a completely different look to RG but feel its more under the radar as many that dont know anything will think its just a stainless watch...
Need your opinions on the 2 and what one you would choose?

Both are beautiful watches. I’d ask first are you using it mostly casually, at work, weekends, etc...? I’d say the WG on OF lends itself to fitting in a more casual/sporty look, VS the leather strap. Although both are very adaptable.

Can't go wrong with either, however, I am biased with RG/ Choc dial on mine.

I prefer silver toned metals. So it depends on which color you prefer.

I’m head over heals for my WG on OF.

Very under the radar, but still completely striking. No one has any idea at all that it’s a Rolex, let alone WG. But it catches the light and has amazing contrast of colors. No Clutter on the dial and is supremely comfortable.

And while I feel that most of the time leather is more comfortable, I do prefer rubber for its versatility.

In this specific case I find the OF to be as comfortable as any leather strap watch I’ve worn.

Of those two I'd pick the WG.

That is a choice made in person, do not ask anybody's help here. If i were you i would be getting both. Appearance wise no similarities apart of the brand and three sub dials. Purpose wise also totally different.

Does anyone know if the OF can be swapped for a leather strap?

This seems to go for almost everyone I know who's bought an OF daytona...it's replaced most watches in their, and my collection for daily wear. It's almost, if maybe the perfect luxury watch. I LOVE the white gold variant, just didnt want 2 OF models (I have the YG with black dial/gold sub dials).

For me, it was RG all the way. WG is fantastic, but too closely resembles SS and I wanted something that was distinctly different from my SS Daytona.

Why pay the price for gold when it looks like SS? Never understood that unless you have infinite money.

Despite preferring RG over WG, in this instance, I would choose the WG because I prefer the Oysterflex to a leather strap. Now if the RG was on bracelet....

Both are amazing but I would choose the WG. Would likely get tired of the chocolate dial.
