My Neighbor Crapped

I've been wearing a Timex for a couple months and my next door neighbor and I have been discussing Rolexes. He knew I was treating myself to a Hulk for Christmas(pre owned). Before Christmas he would look at my wrist and ask what I was wearing ever day. I told him it was for Christmas, so it was arapped and under the Tree. On Christmas he got to see the "Green Machine" up close and personal. Today he wanted a look, so he said "What you wearing'. I removed my watch and handed it to him. His eyes bugged out as he was looking at my GMT II daily wearer. He crapped !
The Green Monster is just so beautiful I knew I could not wear it every day. For years I have collected items we are not allowed to mention on this Forum, so I sold some to come up with extra cash. My AD just made me a wonerful deal on
the GMT II so I went for it.

Congratulations! He probably barely wrapped his mind around one Rolex and now you've got two.

It's difficult for most folks to understand "Red Neck" humor and remember.

Congrats! Of course I wonder if those new watches are no longer as protected as they once were.

I wore my first Rolex Sub 5513 for fifty two years. I complained to the AD in the Mall about a new bracelet costing $375 for a watch I bought for $109. Then in a week I spend $18K for a Hulk and GMTII. Well, I didn't actually spend that much money. They put in on a plastic card. I didn't give them "any" Money. Sorry, due to the date I will admit I have had a few "Short Snorters" of Woodford Reserve! Swiss Mad, I will explain later what a Snorter is. Happy New Year to all !! Red Neck lessons coming soon !

Thank you for the explanation.
While your reading this, can you tell me which AD quoted you $375 for a vintage Submariner bracelet..
Happy New year!

That is the thing with the green sub, I could not wear mine daily. It is a cool 2nd or 3rd watch, but not a one and only watch. Lets face it, it is green.
