Its a description rather than the part code. Part code would be 312-1016 or something.

Hello there,

This reference number is for a replacement caseback. On this particular watch the previous caseback was heavily engraved and perhaps replaced for this reason.

Watch sold for £6200 including commission. The only original part on it was the movement. Crazy.
