Connecticut Service Center returned scratched my watch

Hi,

Just want to share my experience and frustration.

I bought Colt 44 in July and the movement had issues. In November I took it to the WTC boutique and they sent it to the SC in Connecticut.

6 weeks later I got it back with scratches on the bracelet, side of the case and lower part (4-6) of the bezel. Naturally, I complained but was told that it is my fault. The center does not have any pictures of the watch before service or after service.... The best they offered to rectify this was $180 charge for polishing.

Is my experience unique? Any advice?

Thank you
