Please help! cant identify...

hi

got this watch from a friend. its a rolex... but i cant tell much about it..
can someone identify it for me (hope its not fake) and how do i fix it (not working now) and final question is: is it worth fixing at all?

Check between the lugs for numbers and on the inside of the caseback

Original California dial (assuming it's original) on a Turtle model is very much worth fixing - don't do anything to the dial at all. Also don't touch the hands.
