How far off the coast did you hook the Mahi? My son and I are considering going soon.

We were just about a mile offshore, right where the shelf drops off (in Ft Lauderdale) in my buddies boat. we usually aren't that lucky in the center console. Just trolling with lures on a planer, got really lucky for this time of year.

That’s awesome! We fish the gulf often, but you have really go out far to get into the pelagic species. A mile off is sounding great! By the way the Hulk looks great in its natural environment!

Nice!
Been out a few times over this past week. I’m down in key largo for the Reef Cup, supposed to be blowing a bit... could get messy!
Send some sails south!
