You know a Daytona is hard to get when every other driver they interviewed mentions wanting to win to get the watch. Hope they know it’s not a ceramic.

Found it. It listed under IMSA Weather tech sports car championship. The words Rolex, Daytona, and 24, are nowhere in the title. Brilliant...

I watched the first hour. I’m not sure I have FS1 in my lineup, so I’ll rely on you guys to report the results.

Not everyone is enamored of auto racing. Bet if I have 50k posts, a Platinum Daytona and a German or Italian car I'd be accepted. People have different likes and dislikes.

Am I not allowed to voice my opinion?

I bet you wouldn't like it either when someone called one of your interests a waste of time.
Next time just don't open threads related to things you don't like.

So discussion is limited to people who agree with each other and dissenting views aren't welcome? Seem so. I didn't disparage anyone; I didn't say "Anyone who watches auto racing is a _____" because I don't believe that.

I'm sure that many people don't agree with my hobbies and free time pursuits and they are free to express that view, and on many forums do so.

Clearly this is more an elitist forum than a Rolex forum as I have said before. That is my opinion and therefore since I clearly am not welcome I will do you all a favor and bow out of here permanently.

The two dozen or so members of the clique can enjoy fawning over each other.

ETA Thank you Mon for confirming what I said above that I am not welcome here. Best wishes with the forum.

I didn't say you're not welcome here, I said probably not.

Change your negative attitude and we would love you.

When I post the way you do I get tons of people jump on me so you can imagine if I wrote a farewell note every time.

of course you are, just as we are allowed to give you a good ribbing !

on a serious note I do find it somewhat amusing that someone can appreciate the mechanics of a fine watch but can't seem to understand or appreciate the mechanics involved in a 24 hr endurance race ??

As for the race Congrats to Ford and their GT and also to Team Corvette for their podium finish. At least the Vette is a real production car !
