Rolex musuem at the Wynn Las Vegas

I was in Vegas for a few days last week & visited the Rolex Ad at the Wynn hotel ,where they had a musuem in the back not huge ,but it had a nice timeline & lots of nice pieces from all refs on display .I had a hard time getting quality pics because of the reflection from the glass, but the 6542 "Pussy Galore" was an excellent example with a perfect bakelite bezel.Staff told me it's one of only 2 official museums in the world ,who knows but it was pretty cool & worth checking out if your in LV ,you gotta ask staff because you really can't tell it's even there.

very very cool.. From the looks of it, seems the 6536 is sporting a service dial later mk3 insert. Both insert and dial from the 70's.. surprised Rolex wouldn't have more original examples in their personal collection that they would put on display?

Check out the museum while you can folks, I was told by staff that it's being removed.

*Disclaimer* I didn't see anything in writing though.

Funny you mention that..when I was not keen on vintage I never noticed and only stood in awe at their display/museum...I visited again during holidays and all i could do is pick out service parts...not sure if this is a good thing or or not for that hobby...kinda a wake up call for me personally.

@ TheRolexKingofLV.....sales person told me something different...said they were actually changing it up and have a display of the manufacturing progress from ground up for a stainless Rolex...

I’m sure Rolex has many NOS original pieces in their Archives. Only thing I can think of is that the service examples which are still rare, are the pieces they feel comfortable shipping around the world and moving from place to place without the worry of possible damage to original parts.. lume flaking or just getting lost. Things like that.

Can’t see this is Rolex exhibition. It is likely the AD or people close to it showing off some nice pieces. Makes no sense Rolex would put up those watches in that fashion.
