Day-Date 36 President Bracelet Question

Hello forum members. I am considering purchasing a new Day Date 36 with a President bracelet. My question is: Does the Day Date 36 President bracelet have the ceramic inserts that the Day Date 40 has? This was a modification to the bracelet that was announced when the Day Date 40 was introduced at Baselworld 2015. I would like to know if Rolex has since made the same modification -- ceramic inserts in the links -- to the Day Date 36 bracelet.

Any information about this is most appreciated. Thank you very much.

I believe the ceramic inserts are reserved for the President bracelet on the DD40 range.

Only on the 40. However if you do not wear the bracelet too loose and keep it clean you will get 30 years or more from a new 118238. If its worn sparingly or in a rotation even better

Very nice piece.

I like the center links and bezel.

Don’t see these very often.

Weird. Not sure why they would limit something like that to the dd. It would be useful for all rolexes

Related query - does anyone know if it's possible to purchase a rose gold bracelet separately from Rolex, and the pricing?

I've got a 36 that came with a leather strap and thinking of switching it on to a bracelet.

I can't find any information anywhere on line about new ceramic inserts in the 36mm president bracelet. Here is the quote from Rolex which is the same as for the DD40.

Quote:
The President bracelet
The design, development and production of Rolex bracelets and clasps, as well as the stringent tests they face, involve advanced high technology. And, as with all the components of the watch, aesthetic controls by the human eye guarantee impeccable beauty. The President bracelet, with its semi-circular three piece links, was created in 1956 for the launch of the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date. It represents the ultimate in refinement and comfort and is always made of carefully selected precious metals.

Yes you can buy one from the AD. In Canada it's about CAD 21,000 if my memory serves me correctly

18 year old White Gold Presidential.
The day I bought this, brand new, I thought I’d ‘made it’. Has been serviced once by Rolex about 10 years ago. Still runs great and is in fine shape.

I can confirm that the 128238 has the inserts finally. If they're left out the bracelet links are loose.

Ceramic inserts isn't the end all. The band will still wear if worn to loose or not kept clean !
