Stressed: Heritage BB In House or ETA
I've spent the last 4 hours reading countless forums and answers (some even posted on TRF) and I'm still torn.
What would you Rolex vets choose, the in house or ETA? I don't want to say I'm a movement SNOB but I do like knowing that I have some in house, custom to that specific watch but at the same time I heard the in house variant is quite a bit thicker (can I get confirmation from someone who handled both?). I don't care about how expensive the servicing costs MIGHT BE down the line, I prefer the in house face but ETA is fine too. The look is not a deal breaker for me. Some complain about the rivets but that doesn't apply as I will be going with the strap. Simply put, what is the superior, what is the preferred, what would YOU get between the two? I do know that the new one has 70+ hour power reserve and more anti-magnetic properties. |
