Trip to the AD Today

Went to my local AD today to see the Blusey in person. Unfortunately they just sold it a couple days earlier but I was presently surprised at how much inventory they had. Submariner with and without date, black GMT, Air-King. They’d just gotten in a steel Daytona but that was long gone, as well as a Sea-Dweller.

As usual I went to see one watch and was blown away by another. The TT Daytona and the DSSD were amazing in person. Here’s some pics!

Thanks! It was big as expected, but not near as big as I thought it would be. It was a lot nicer than I expected. Definitely on my radar now. I'd say the DSSD or a two-tone has to be next one on my list.

D-Blue is amazing, better act sooner than later, who knows what is going bye bye soon.

No problem at all. The AD is in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The steel Daytona and the SD were already sold unfortunatley.

I have a great relationship with these guys. They are hyper-vigilant about only selling the hot models to local people with whom they have relationships.

They certainly would not sell anything over the phone, but if you came in person they probably would. Like others have said, all stickers will be removed upon purchase.

That's an impressive selection at an AD, especially these days. Hope you pick one up!

I wasn't really prepared for so much inventory. Had they had the bluesy I might have left with it. I wanted the Daytona badly, but I would need to save a bit more before a purchase that big. The Daytona was absolutely stunning.

TT Daytona is only $3k more than the bluesy.

Really? I didn't realize it was that cheap. Excuse me: that inexpensive.

I still like that gray YM, although it appeals to me more in pictures than it does in person (when I can see the price tag).

The TT Daytona looks amazing, even better in the flesh. Sporty and Dressy time-piece.
