Another this or that thread...

Hoping to add one of these two by the end of the year.

Have not been able to try the AP but love the looks of it and will definitely try one before making my final decision. But at this point I'm absolutely torn.

Will attach a pic of the current collection which is missing a LVc that will hopefully be added soon.

What's your pick?

AP

Smurf

Heck, I would pick the Smurf over a 5711, there, I said it.

Given the fact that you already have a sub and a total of three rolex watches, I'd go with the AP.

Another this or that thread...

Based on your collection I’d probably go AP ROO. However I prefer the simplicity and robustness of the Rolex (even in WG it’s tougher than the AP).

I’d go AP given your collection. Not to say the sub is not gorgeous of course...

My personal pick between those two watches, based purely on preference, would be the WG Sub. Taking your collection into account, though, I think the AP would offer you more variety. You've already got a good selection of Rolex sports models, including one SubC and another you expect to add. The Smurf is great, but how many super-cases do you need? (And of course, I mean "need" the way a WIS uses the term.)

AP, already have a Rollie with that type of style and thus prefer diversity.

AP for me, but it's a big watch so only if it wears comfortably on your wrist.

I’d choose the sub only cause the AP would be too large for my wrist.

Like Mike said, I prefer the simplicity and robustness of the Smurf.

Not to mention the feeling of a gold bracelet on the wrist.

I'll be honest, the AP fits a gap in your collection better. But honestly, the WG Sub is amazing. I'd pick that over a lot of things.

I say Sub

I have a AP ROO and the finishing and quality is another level beyond Rolex. However, my small wrist can't handle the size and the extended lugs of the ROO. With that said, my vote goes to the WG Sub.

AP just so you can add some more variety to your collection. Plus, you would have a holy trinity brand watch.

Add the AP, and sell the EX2 and one of the Omegas or the MB to fund the Smurf.

I have both except my AP is the SS version in 44. I also have the 116619 and love both. Looking at your collection, go with the AP simply because you dont have one yet. But, the smurf is one of my favorites and I can wear daily as well. Tough call.....on another note, I love the pic with all your watches set at the same time!!

Keep in mind that if you get the WG Sub - which I highly recommend - you will no longer wear your BLNR or SS Sub. At least that's what happened to me, so I sold both.

AP - the ROO 44 is a great watch and it will add some further diversity to your collection (I do love the Smurf, though)
