Is this level of accuracy normal?

I just picked up a 16713 from one of the sellers here on the forums but at his local shop. I previously picked up a 16622 from another seller that had to be sent back as it was off by close to 4 min/day.
So now I find myself checking my 16713 each morning to see if it’s gained or lost any time and since I’ve had it now for 6 days, its maybe gained one second over that time period. I expected accuracy from a Rolex but this is beyond my expectation. Is this normal?

I believe they set them a touch fast when new. +0.166 sec./day I'd consider exceptional.
My Daytona runs roughly +1.5 sec./day for the last 4-5 years. Some don't take much stock precision and/or accuracy. I track it as a way of detecting if there's a problem. I own a Omega Moonwatch that got magnetized. I discovered it by observing drastic swings in accuracy. COSC certification for chronometer accuracy is +6/-4 sec./day. Can anyone afford to gain a minute in 10 days? I think it all comes down to if you know your watch gains a 3 minutes a month you don't get caught in a situation where you miss some appointment, is sort of rare. But it all adds up. It does equate to +36 minutes a year. Better early than late? Funny thing, if it does matter, it matters differently to each of us.
