If you were to only ever own one panerai which one would it be (under $20k)

Looking for input, can be preowned but I refer new from AD.

Looking at both Buisness Casual and Sporty.

Feedback appreciated.

My only Panerai is a 1499 (not for long), but if I thought I could only have one ever, I’d probably get a 372 or 422. Definitely a Luminor with a sandwich dial for a one and only.

Pam 233. IMO, the perfect Panerai.

233 or 372 if you’re looking for ‘newer’

232 or 249 if you want classic

Several good choices 000, 005,111 in the 44 mm. My choice was the 422. A lot of what Panerai does well for me. The 47 mm case works well and once in the strap game you can change the look easily.

For me, it's the 425. It's currently the only Panerai that I own.

I have an answer in mind, which - if everything goers according to plan - will be accompanied by pics soon. Fingers crossed.

My one and only is a 111. No regrets. Great watch. Beautifully decorated movement.

Pam 688. 42mm, GMT, blue dial, boutique edition (if it wasn’t I’d have already traded my 356).

Thanks all again. I’ve decided in the PAM 684. Love the fact it’s a 42mm and the Rose Gold.

Awesome choice!! Well above your stated 20k threshold, but hot damn that’s a beautiful piece.

'Need' and 'want' are two very different emotions, Dave

If I could only ever have one Panerai and I was starting from scratch, I'd have a 533.
