Another hot and sweaty week in TX
Ive run the A.C.most of this month and cant remember the last time I turned on the heater. Jan was pretty cold but its made 180 degree turn.....ceiling fans are all on in the house plus A.C. How I hate this humidity and heat! and rain and thunderstorms daily.

I hate hot & humid weather as well. I'm glad I don't live in Texas and only 2-3 weeks per year are unbearable here.
Hang in there, I'm sure it'll cool down soon enough |

I much prefer that to hot weather. You can dress for cold, when it gets really hot and humid you can't do anything...

At the moment I'll take the warmth / humidity over what we've been having here! Having been to Florida in July though I get where you're coming from and feel your pain. Life's all about balance.

I tend to really like the cold, when its cold.
And I tend to really like the heat, when its hot. But this winter is starting to get to me. It is very cold and icy and as of this weekend, snowy. brrrr....looking forward to spring.

25C no wind low humidity, yes. 35C 90% humidity and a thunderstorm every night? No thanks.

How I could use some warmth here in Montana. It's a high of 1 degree Fahrenheit today and expected to be -22 below zero with windchills in the -30s.

I am far more at home in the heat. Once the temperature drops below 12 degrees celsius, I start making plans for heading towards the equator.
When heading out into a 35 degree humid day I know I can deal with it. When heading out into a 2 degree cold, wet, windy day I am anxious if I have gear to keep me warm and dry. |

Living here in Finland, where it's usually ice cold, or raining 24/7, and "highs" of roughly 70 Fahrenheit in the summer, it does get "old" to do anything outside. October to december 2017, we had precipitation most days. Installing new yard lights? A horror show, as you can barely use your fingers. Try doing it right now? Impossible. Basically all outside work is slow or impossible. It's minus 16C here at the moment, was down to around -20c during the night. This is the south. North of finland? I don't want to know. I'll be glad if the X5 starts when I need to leave in 30minutes. I know some people genuinely like cold weather, but trust me you are the minority. Often it is people living in warmer climates than me who say they love the cold. Finns love warmth and summer. I never complain it's too hot.

We had up to 44C in SA for a few days last month but humidity was 15%.
My swampy worked well and kept the indoor temp at around 27C.
