Bought my first Panerai last week... ordered my second this morning!
Well I bought my first Panerai last week the 323, being someone who has never shown any interest in them or even looked at a Panerai in person to seeing one and instantly buying one.
Well a week later, I walked into the Panerai boutique in London and saw the 425 and fell in love instantly, I just find the vintage sparse dial so fitting for the watch. I purchased elsewhere as the boutique barely moved on the price but the 425 is incoming in the next week. Never has a brand hooked me so fast and so hard. Got to now hold fire before I find a reason to buy the Carbon Submersible. |

My advice, if taken seriously, you should start doing research on aftermarket straps. It is a whole new world.
1) A big congratulation on your double purchase. What was the 323 like? 2) Since you are from the UK, you might wanna try Toshi, Richard I think. 3) Please post more pictures. 4) Welcome to the world of Panerai. Cheerio! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Great start! You've got two very fine Radiomirs. Congratulations and enjoy! :-) Now, for that first Luminor..... 372 perhaps? |

Steel bracelet Panerai 270
I own a Panerai 270. Interested in a stainless bracelet. Does anyone know if there is a compatible steel bracelet available? Prefer OEM Panerai but if not available would do aftermarket. Thank you.

Congrats! You'll love the 425. It's the only Panerai I own and I love the vintage, minimalist dial.

Maybe the bracelet for the 329???
I know the 312/320/329 series is a 1950 and the 270 is a 1950;but don’t know if the bracelet is compatible

Congratulations . 425 is one of the best Radiomir timepieces in Panerai current collection . You may want to consider adding 422 Or 372 In near future . We can call you now “ Panerisiti “ . Wear them in good health and enjoy .

Congrats! Panerai is a good choice.
I've been collecting the brand since the early 2000's and have quite a few pieces, and mainly stick to SE's. Most watch fans buy because we like something and not for investment purposes. Having said that, if you want to get out of a piece its not nice to lose your shirt doing it. My advice, go steady and think before you buy. Here's my nice virtually un-scratchable daily beater, 335. And one of my SE's which needs no introduction. |

Well the 425 arrived today! I’m really loving it, the Spartan dial is very vintage military looking yet dressy with the beautiful polished Radiomir case, very happy. And yes the Luminor is certainly happening next. For me it’s going to be the 577 Left hander I think but so many options.
As to aftermarket straps, I’ve ordered a DiStefano strapand it’s being made while we speak. Just a quick thing of note my box on the 425 is smaller than the box of my 323, this is ok? I was under the impression all the wooden cases were the same size. |

Wait till you get a Special Edition, the (SE) box is double the size of your 425. Simona is one of the pioneer in strap making magic. You can’t go wrong with hers. Since you like Italian, you might wanna look into Sengia Straps too.

Wow thanks for the tip, I’ve just looked and they’ve got a couple of stunning straps that I’ll be ordering very soon I’m sure, and reasonably priced.
