My supervisor taught me his magic today, refinishing a Yacht-Master bezel the Rolex way.
He is a wizard.

My supervisor (master watchmaker) showed me how to do one first, then assisted me during the refinishing of this. I was just as amazed as you.

Ultrasonic cleaning, polishing, sand blasting. With the right tools of course.

Polishing is done on the Rolex lapping machine, not a regular polishing machine as that would polish the blasted parts again...

Very impressive Bas. My wife has the 35mm TT Yacht-Master blue dial and the bezel kinda looks like the first picture. Nice job, extraordinary work there.

It was not. Don't think you can even take it apart?
We have specific bezel holders for during the blasting. Only the numbers need to be polished again, they are fully blasted as well.

What I know so can that take it apart in Geneva.

Why not masking the numbers? I actually thought they did it when they blasted.
