What men's Rolex looks best on women?
I love a men's full size Rolex on a woman, but what do you think looks the best? I think either a Daytona or Explorer. I have a GMT-IIc but I don't think it will look good on a woman. I know there's been a couple similar threads on this before but I'd love to get your thoughts as I am thinking about buying something for my GF.

Sub Daytona, Exp II, SD. They all look good on anyone.

It depends on what kind of woman she is, personally I think you should ask her straight up what type of watch she would prefer. Try to ask it in a joking manner, not too serious. That should give you a gauge on what she prefers timepiece wise. I think a 40mm rolex is sexy on a woman's wrist, it shows that she is secure and confident.

most women need 34 or 36 mm to fit properly. 'Bigger' boned women can get away with 40 mm.

Any big fricken tool watch, preferrably a YG Daytona . . . but the SS Sub looks good as modeled below (this is well-known, previously posted TRF pic, so please don't ban me ):

I have one that is slightly better than this but it would likely get me banned so I vote for this one.

Yeah, I decided to leave that one out, but I know how you feel. The point remains: the watch looks fantastic on her. Nevertheless, I was in Beverly Hills yesterday and saw a YG Daytona in a shop window. It is a thing of beauty. And I think we've seen plenty of pics here of women wearing that one with great success. |

I'll make this my first post on the forum. My wife currently has a SS lady Datejust with a black/stick dial. I just bought this for her last week; should make a nice Christmas gift.
