Sub date or no date

Hello All
I am new to this forum and was looking for suggestions. I have a two-tone GMT II and like it. It’s a bit flashy for me. I am considering looking for a daily watch. The price point and style of the no date submairner has my attention. My local AD has a date and a no date. Of course no negotiation. I’m not really a collector or investor. Obviously the brand maintains its value. I’ve tried both on and would be happy with either. Thanks in Advance for the feedback.

No date. I find the cyclops to be a growing issue for me as it affects the dial symmetry.

The date function is even more useful than the time imo.

Love both equally but I must say I do use the date function quite a bit.

Does it keep track throughout the year (like for Feb or July/August which both have 31st) or do you need to set it every month?

+1 for No Date

The date. Only the SS is produced with a ND. And I think the date function is useful.

Date. If you're used to having a date on your current watch, don't underestimate how annoying it will be not to have it on your next one, especially if you intend for it to be your daily.

Keep in mind, too, the disproportionately high number of votes for the no-date in this thread is indicative of the enthusiast vibe of this forum. It's not a reflection of what most buyers prefer. Seven out of eight Submariner variants are produced with a date feature. There's a reason for that.
