Baselworld releases from the past
As the event approaches, I was curious to revisit Rolex releases over the past few years...not an exhaustive list, but watches that get mentioned here frequently.
2017: Sea Dweller 50th Anniversary SS Sky-dweller SS DJ 41 2016: DaytonaC Air King 40mm Explorer I (Lume dial) 2015: Day/Date 40mm 2014: WG GMT Master II Pepsi Sea Dweller 4K Milgauss (green) Which years do you guys/gals remember and for which models? |

Wasn’t it 2016 that the DJ41 was released with 2017 being the DJ41 SS release?

I think there might have been a 50th anniversary Daytona in 2013.

D500 was the big one, and a surprise even though we had been waiting since 2011 as the TTs and Full Golds were skipped, and still now are absent.

I remember 2013 BLNR and being so amazed with the blue and black.

Was it around 2010 the Ceramic bezel was added the black Sub date thus creating the 116610LN we all know and love today?
I wasn't 'as' into watches back then as I am now, so it's introduction came and went right by me. However, at the time for anyone who was, it must have been a pretty special release? Would anyone who was an active member of TRF at the time care to confirm if this was the case? Cheers. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk

Did the diamond version of the Platona also come out in 2013? Or was that released in later years?
Also - that will have been a 4 year run for the BLRO. Pretty short, ya? There can't be all that many out there. |
