WTB - Rolex Zenith Daytona 16520 Mark 1 Dial, Mark ! Bezel; one or both
Hello, I need to locate & purchase a first generation (R SN, 1988), Mark 1 Zenith Daytona Dial (black or white). The differences are subtle but the word " is spaced 1 to 1.5 lines below the other 4 lines of "Rolex" and lettering (see photo of Daytona on the right; it's a correct Mark 1). I believe my watch fell victim to another unnecessary RSC "complementary" replacement of a perfectly fine dial and bezel, and replaced with a nice, floating 6 White, Mark III dial and Mark 2 bezel (both not needed or even requested), and of course were not returend with the watch...
Anyway, thank you for digging through your parts, asking your collecor pals & any fathers or grandfathers retiring from watch making w/a stockpile of tools and Rolex parts to see if you can find the dial and the bezel or whichever one, and I'll buy it & even open to trading my mark III dial should you/they want it, but I want my watch back to origial and am ready to buy when it's found. Thank you all very much. Pls show me everything you find that you're not sure of & it just might be the perfect fit...Thanks, Bill |
