I've got my 1998 GMT 16700 back from Rolex UK.

Sent by Goldsmiths, Nottingham to Rolex UK early January.
Cost was £505 plus £180 to replace bezel and glass.

It's absolutely as new.

It even came in a leather pouch with a small manual etc.
My post of 17 Jan shows how it went to Rolex a bit scruffy and scratched.

No major damage but covered in light scratches as to be expected after 10 years since the last service.

Awesome job and CLASSIC watch!!! I think the preMasterII 16700 with the white gold surrounds beat the matte dials; that's pretty much a grail right there.
