Which ceramic version are you talking about?
The three-hander Laureato or a completely different model, the bi-register Chrono Hawk?
The one being discussed here is the new Laureato Chronograph.

At little more than a casual glance, then you could be forgiven for thinking as such, but as an owner, delving into more of the details would reveal it’s far from an AP clone.
Different technique for the dial, different sub-dial pattern design, (chemically?) blued hands and indices, and quite a different bezel, with its obvious octagonal shape upon a circular base.
Surely as supposedly knowledgable watch aficionados/connoisseurs, we’re expected to look beyond the basic silhouette, and pay attention to the differentiations that give potential buyers a solid reason to consider a purchase?

Interesting to see that G-P has also now ventured into using 904L steel, most likely as a further differentiator from the industry standard.

It's the pushers that really did it for me, far too much of a rip off esp with that octagon. Inexcusable choice, a deliberate rip off I'd go as far to say and so integrity lost.

Apologies for not making my post clearer, I was referring to the new 3-hand 42mm ceramic Laureato. I tried on this watch at the GP boutique and I was very impressed with the lightness and "under-the-radar" look. Alas the price is a little too high for me to pull the trigger.

The new Laureato chrono in the 1st post is nice too. I like the blue accents on the hands and hour markers, and also the 38mm size. However, between this chrono and the ceramic Laureato, I will choose the ceramic Laureato because I like its stealth and simplicity.

That said, I wouldn’t argue much, as whilst it was near the top of the list, most other images show a couple of variations to the pushers design over the years and across the various Laureato Chronograph models.
Ultimately, they’ve never really settled on a definitive design which could be recognisable as G-P Laureato Chronograph pushers.
For me, I can look past it, but if push came to shove, I’d much rather prefer they used the Evo Chrono style, which marries up nicely with the crown.
