Rolex Hulk for a Navitimer 01 46mm Rose Gold

Hi All,

I've recently left Rolex for which I had a Deepsea, then a Sub Hulk 2013 which I have now traded against a UB012721 Rose Gold Navitimer 46mm on Croc brown strap New! Straight swap!

I couldn't resist the Navi, it's always had a draw on me since my friend got one, it's a absolute beaut!

Have I made a wise decision?

Wise? Is there wisdom anywhere in this passion of ours?

If you ended up with the watch that you like more then you dd the right thing.

If asked over on the Rolex general discussion, most would probably tell you that you have made a mistake, as the Hulk is in such high demand and is essentially appreciating in value as a result. However, if the navitimer speaks to you more, then that's irrelevant. It's a classic watch in its own right, and if it speaks more to you, then you made the right choice. Congrats on your decision.

To answer your question i say no. But if there was a common conception about right or wrong then there would only be a handful of watches around. What you got is a beautiful watch so enjoy it man.

I have the SS Navitimer World and love it. Be careful if you sent it to Breitling USA for service. They have a tendency to scratch the case and bracelet and then deny it.

I sent numerous of my and my wife’s watches to Breitling over the years. The sloppiness downturn happened around 2015/2016 - possibly old generation of watchmakers left and new staff does not care. Breitling in CT used to be better than the one in Switzerland... I got really upset when I sent my Emergency II for routine battery replacement under warranty and came back badly scratched up. Offered me free polish, but I declined.
