Casebudi recommendation for submariner

Hi all, was just about to purchase a normal size casebudi for my lvc but on reading reviews someone mentions getting the small version for Submariners.

Confusingly, reviews for the normal size casebudi also say perfect for Submariner so does anyone have both that could help?

I have a sub lvc on a 7.5 inch wrist

Small is better. I have the larger one for my 44 AP. Not sure there are 3 sizes, thought just two.

Small is good for a Sub. Bigger for 42mm and up.

I bought 2 for my milgauss and YM.
They have 3 sizes. IIRC, mediums fit up to a 44mm. The small fits up to a 38mm and the large fits a 50mm.

I bought a small and medium. The medium was the best fit. The small was too tight and got sent back.

I just purchased several watch cases from Amazon called ShockCase. I don’t see much of a difference between this case and the more expensive ones. I think I paid $12 each.

Regardless of size, you need to wrap it in a cloth - or it rattles around.

Remember, these are *storage* cases - not meant for travel.

Is there travel specific options like these? I like the simplicity of them and would have thought someone made one for 40mm watches with foam in etc?

Not really... This company and the original Oakleys always dubbed these "storage cases."

That said, many folks use these to travel with...but the cases can get smooshed and if unprotected, watches rattling around can get scratched. That has happened to me.

The best travel cases prevent movement and bracelets from rubbing on cases etc.

Small, I have a few and use them for my subs.

They fit nice and snug, no rattling.

I use the Oakley Vaults which are very good. As Speed says, you need to have a cloth inside too, but that really is no bother, and actually quite useful. And they are small enough to go in a decent sized pocket. Sadly I don't think they are made any more - I got a few off ebay a year or two ago.

I might also add that you can get very nice quality indeed real leather Breitling cases. I bought a few at the London Bond St store for just £25 each. Why they are so cheap is beyond me, as they are very nice indeed - real leather, in a very nice outer box too. Ok, they have Breitling branded on them, but still good for just £25!

CaseBudi is $15, not what I would call expensive.

I have the small size & it’s perfect. With the larger one the watch moves around too much.

I use cut-off plastic bottles in the safe - Washable, stable and plastic won't scratch even 18K. Zippy thingies that still need a cloth inside pah! Humbug, and $12 a piece for the privilege. You want secure buy a few cheap sponges from Aldi, cut em into the requisite pillow and slot shape then jam the lot into a sock or whatever. Zippy thingies that still need a cloth, honestly..,
