Rolex since 1980.

Since 1980 I have had three Rolex watches. One a datejust, one a day date and one a bluesy. To me those three are the best references, all 5 digit. To me they are what Rolex watches are about. Classics.

We all don't need that latest iteration. Some of us are happy with what we have.

Hey, sounds like that collection might benefit from a 11660LN!

Not many things compare to the joy of peeling off the stickers of a new Rollie!

I have a five digit DJ. It's wonderful. But my new DJ 41 has a fantastic bracelet, a 70-hour power reserve, and incredible accuracy (+1 a WEEK). I also love my 114060's greater wrist presence, glidelock system, and ceramic bezel that will never scratch. To each their own, you know?

Everyone is different. I saw the largest collection of dressy Rolex watches that I had ever seen yesterday.

I'm totally a sports model guy so it wasn't my cup of tea but I can't say I wasn't impressed.

You should go to your local AD and try on a new, similar styled, modern version of one of your watches. Just to see what you think.
