Rubber B for Audemars Piguet Royal Oak
I just got the email from Rubber B about this new strap. I have to say that I'm exited for this one, but I feel like I was on the waiting list forever. The best part is that I won't need to buy any plots or conversion kits. The strap just fits right into the case. These pictures are from their email. I will post mine & give feedback as soon as I receive & install it sometime next week.

The velcro & “clasp” look cheap as f… – definite deal breaker right there!
Nice bit of metal integration, but still back to the drawing board, afaic. |

I find velcro one of the most comfortable fits on a watch.

Cheap tat without style - I wouldn't let it near my APs. Different for Rolex! I can't imagine using a velcro fastening on an AP, just doesn't sit well. Much prefer one of AP's rubber straps. Also my experience in the past of Rubber B (on Rolex) is that the rubber doesn't age well (quickly stiffens and goes shiny) and isn't worth the money.

Hey thanks a lot for the "cheap velcro" comments. I have "cheap velcro" on my End of Days. Fits extremely comfortable perhaps more than the RO bracelet that I love but after a while gets a bit uncomfortable like a bangle bracelet. what's on your wrist?

I've had a completely different experience. I have 2 and will get the one mentioned by the OP also. I go on the ocean regularly & no problems. 3 solid years on the WG Daytona (replacing it soon) the 5980 looks like new & we'll see on this one. Worth the money? come on 300 bucks every 3-4 years is pretty inexpensive IMO. Were not talking investments here....

They found a good solution to the plot conversion kit thing, but why Velcro? Not for me.

Geez! nobody has the band yet and everyone is choosing sides? Let's see fellow members wearing It and then talking about it. They are an extremely high quality product. You can agree or disagree on many thing but if you argue their quality you definitely have questionable standards.

I don't mind the styling up top, bit unusal but at least gives something more visual than straight lines. Don't like the Velcro part tho.

What’s with all this agreeing with me? Have you all forgotten to take your pills today? Well… apart from Joe and Yuri, but they’re just oddballs. |

I forgot to post pictures. Been wearing it on the strap for about 3 weeks now. Wears entirely different from the bracelet & changes the look to a completely different watch. IMO theres no comparison to a Royal Oak Bracelet but the comfort on this strap is insane. Flies under the radar a bit too. Very surprised with the velcro. It is very comfy and I like that you have to toggle with the flap in order to go through the loop for safety. It won't just slide through. This is my 4th Rubber B strap so I won't even speak on Quality. If you own one you know. The feel is 100% OEM.

Strap aesthetics do look great from the side. Like how the strap integrates into the case directly - a nice touch.
Not sure on the hook & loop closure, but if it’s comfortable and secure, why not. Sent using Tapatalk

Each to their own but absolutely not for me. My 'quality' experience with Rubber B products (on Rolex) has been poor too. Comfortable or not, I absolutely can't blend velcro with AP - but glad you like it.

So you had a bad experience and choose to overlook reality to bash a product at any chance? Classy, Yes I do like it very much!
Put their AP rubber strap next to an OEM AP rubber strap like I did. (not the rubber from AP diver or survivor, those are different) Make a post about it too. It would be fascinating! If you spot any differences other than design it will say much more about You than both products. FACTS>opinion any day boss..... Looking forward to your comparison of both products! |

Ohh and to be clear, those pictures are not from today. They were from earlier this week. Today my ROO is on AP OEM Rubber. So yea, I'll wait for that comparison Champ!

When should we expect your post on a comparison? "appalling" hideous or ugly I can respect that a million times more than knocking on the quality. Makes you look like a fool or a troll. Which I sincerely hope your either...
