4weeks 4rolex!
Hi TRF,
I realize when I’m active on the forum, I start buying. In the pass 4 weeks or so, I have purchased 4 Rolex’s. You may have seen my post before or the purchase of the 116509 steel dial Daytona, followed by the Batman. This week Monday i pick up my first vintage Rolex, a Sub circa 1985. Thou I am not a vintage smart but I met Fred “RED1108NYC”, whom share a lot of his knowledge with me in the purchase. Over all I’m happy to with my purchase and since I’m just starting into vintage I’m only buy 1985, starting off with my birth year. Yesterday a second vintage arrived, watch was serial dates to 1984, but the original purchase receipt was 10/10/1985, thou its not my birthday but it’s close. I decided to make the move to purchase it from John “SPRINGER”. Yesterday was busy, just had the chance to try the watch and whoa for a 32 year old watch I can’t believe the condition it was kept in. Very pleased. Again very please with my purchase from both TRF members, it is my first time buying off the forum and you guys made it a well experience. Thank you Fred, a wonderful experience to meet you, and a wonderful 85 sub passed to me. Thank you John, honestly this is my first time wiring that kind of a money to someone I’ve never met. lol. Glad it went well and thank you for the wonderful Day-Date. To update my profile, my name is not taken, it’s Jin and currently reside in NYC. And the watch journey continues........ On the look for a Kermit or Hulk and a 6263(passed on one couple years ago, back then it’s half the today’s price) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
