My new watch

Hi all, I just joined TRF and here is my 1st post. I am amateur to watches but I just love Rolex. I just bought a vintage DJ at a very good price (but no box and cert or so), then got serviced in local Rolex center so no doubt about authenticity. I like this watch a lot but do not know much about it despite I have done a lot of researches on this forum. Can anyone share some information by looking at the pictures? Such as history? Appreciate a lot!

To my untrained eye it is a mid 60s 1601 non quickset 14kt with a 1575 movement.

In any case you already have the answer. The RSC Papers will give you the reference and serial number and the serial number allows you to date the watch.

If you provide this information will the last couple of digits of the serial number omitted someone will be able to tell you specifically.

Thanks Paul, I will check the serial number and hopefully come back with the info to share.

That's perhaps my favorite model, albeit on the bracelet.
