I would send it back and ask them to send you a new one that is free of all scratches.

Call the special victims unit to get the specimen and run it through their data base. Offcourse you complain, tell them you want that watch for free since it's been abused by a hair follicle.

It was on the Pam protective case, I wonder if it was something dirty inside

Yeah, I wouldn’t be happy with that unless you knew it was a floor model and received a nice discount...

Don't second guess yourself. Demand what you paid for: a new watch.

Thanks Cru Jones, emailed the store, the owner is a very good person, he told me he would look for a replacement, I was thinking of keeping it that way, eventually hair lines and scratches would come up, but not sure those look a little too much for a new watch :(

Okay to send back. That looks like it was in an out of jewelry case a few times. Great watch though.

Marks will come (and Panerais look better with them), but you wanted (and paid for) the privilege of being the one to scuff up the watch.

Glad it seems like you're getting a happy ending. Soon enough, you'll have your pristine beauty on your wrist.

I thought happy endings cost more! Nice watch. Enjoy your new one when it arrives!

Yeah but that’s hard how much of a discount would be good ? $200 bucks ? That’s the cost of shipping new one and prepaid label, any suggestions ?

Honestly for a strap I still want a new watch, if it was a good discount definitely Something to think about, but I was not offered a discount, probably they can polish those marks and sell the watch as new ?

Panerai fit and finish is soooo good I would want mine perfect. Micro hairline scratches are one thing but some of those scratches are deep at 9 o’clock bezel.

id get a discount. Most watches available to try on and on display have this type of stuff. I wouldn't pay the same price as i could get if i waited and had them order one.
