Incoming (for the wife)
Ever since I was bit by the watch bug, and Rolex bug in particular, my wife has been nothing but 100% supportive of my (and all of this forum's) expensive, niche hobby. She means the world to me, and because of my hobby has begun to appreciate watches. Up to this point, she has only had a Timex (which she wears chasing our young kids) and a Fossil (her "nice" watch). So I wanted to get her something versatile she could wear around the house but also when we go out (those of you with young kids know this doesn't happen much ).
After some browsing and working with the AD, I landed on this 114200 34mm silver dial Oyster Perpetual. I think it fits the bill perfectly and the sunburst dial is really stunning. In direct sunlight it looks more silver, but in darker light almost looks like a champagne color. Hard to describe but really beautiful. Anyway, she loves it and I'll never forget her face when she looked at me when she saw the green box with the crown logo. Without further ado, here's her wrist shot and a bonus his and her shot. |
