So this happened today...
Sorry for being long winded, I’m just excited!
Story - I walked into my AD about 2 months ago just see what they had.. At the time, they had SubC Date in the cabinet, along with a GMTII. Unfortunately, I really had my heart set on a Hulk. Chatted with the sales rep about my options, and she said that not only had she never seen one in person (only been there for 6 months), but that the wait could be a VERY long time, especially since I have never purchased anything other than engagement rings. She took my info down and I walked out a little disappointed... Went back in 2 weeks later to take another look at the Sub, but it was gone... No shit right, but the sales rep remembered me and indicated that they were due for a shipment of subs in a few weeks and for a $500 deposit, I would have one in 2 to 4 weeks. I said thank you and wanted to think about it before committing. After trading a few texts, I ultimately decided to just hold out for the “green machine”. Fast forward to today. Got a text that they just received a “hulk” and that it was first come, first serve. They wouldn’t sell it over the phone and wouldn’t hold it for anyone to be fair to all customers... I’m glad I was patient, because walked out with this: |
