K just got home and here is the unboxing.

Had a good time picking these up at the AD. Grand Seiko has always been on the list to get and they had a Peacock in and it looked awesome on the wrist. He also had the Presage blue enamel in also and I was looking for a dress watch because I had gotten rid of my Nomos Ludwig just last week and this fit the bill.

Now a couple wrist shots

Beautiful watches. A high beat 36000 is on my wish list.

It’s a fantastic watch...I almost bought the grey horizontal dial 36000 hi beat gmt in titanium with the old Seiko/Grand Seiko markings they were giving a good deal on, but chose the Peacock instead because who am I kidding, it’s a crazy sweet watch.

It really is...I have too many watches now...I have a feeling after the peacock my others will get a bit lonely...I’ve got to figure out the rotation.

I was sitting in the AD thinking if I’d really be happy with one of the other GS GMT’s that they had on display and I knew I’d be underwhelmed, so I ponied up a few extra hundred for the Peacock and the Presage was just icing on the cake!
