Interest in GMT 126711CHNR?

Hi all,

Who is interested in the 126711CHNR? I have seen multiple dealers across the country receive them. I have not seen a 116713LN at my local dealer for months. Would you be more interested in this new piece or a 116713LN/116710BLNR?

Picked up my Hulk on Monday from a semi local AD, who happens to be my favorite AD, as he's supplied me well over the years. Asked about the Basel releases, and he went in the back and brought out the OP for me to see.

I wasn't interested in the OP, and inquired about seeing a CHNR when available, but he said he wasn't sure when he'd get one as it wasn't included in his last shipment which arrived last week Friday.

Fast forward to yesterday afternoon (Tuesday), and my AD texts me and says, "you're not going to believe what just arrived today"! Unfortunately, my favorite AD is a 70 mile drive and I don't expect to be back in his area this week. That coupled with the fact that he had a couple guys on his list for it, means its more then likely been picked up already.

Oh well, maybe next time! My gut is telling me it's going to be my next purchase.

Here's the latest from the AD which I'm working with; I'm in a holding pattern with no real end in sight...this kind of dispels the idea of Rolex pushing to sell the higher end TT and PM models.

Here is an update after the visit from our Rolex representative.

Rolex instructions for ALL of the new Oyster Professional series pieces is that we are to currently treat them as the steel Daytona. In other words no orders(payments) are currently allowed. We are to wait to receive our respective stores allotment whenever they may come. Once the pieces arrive it is up to store internal personnel to decide who to sell to. I can say that you are on the top of my list for the model you are interested in. I will reach out when I have one to sell you.

From the many threads and posts on the CHNR, I think you will see that the interest is high.

I always thought that the best looking TT ever made was the 116713LN. Haven't seen the new one yet in real life, but in pictures it sure looks stunning.

Still very happy with the old one

I like it. Whether I buy it or not, though, that depends on a lot of moving parts...

Interesting: I was in a AD on Sunday and requested a green Submariner and they told me they won't even take my name, "not the green Submariner or Daytona. Sorry". They did however add me to a list for both the BLRO and CHNR, of which I said I would definitely buy one.

That sounds almost identical to what my AD told me.

If a TT GMT makes my arm hair sparkle like that in wrist shots then I'm getting one for sure.
