116519 or 116515 or back to the 116500.
I went to my local AD and tried on the 116519 the other day. They offered to discount it 5%. My regular AD is willing to give me a 10% and ship it out of state.
The 116519 is a nice watch but the sub dials are kind of hard to read for my eyes. I have tried on the 116515 in the past and I thought it was a beautiful watch. I sold my white dial with the intent of upgrading to a Daytona PM but now I’m thinking the white dial 116500 was the most legible Daytona for me and maybe I made a mistake. My AD told me they are now going down their SS Daytona list if you have bought 4 watches from them. So here are my options: Get the 116519 from my local AD now with no wait and get 5% discount and pay 9.25% tax Buy Daytona OF from my normal AD and get 10% discount with no tax but wait 3-6 months Buy a white Daytona at SRP but wait another 1 plus years. Here are pics of all 3 watches on my wrist The “in-watch” right now with the panda dial is very retro Stunning watch but really think the discounted model with the leather band is more elegant but the OF version is more sporty Bang for the buck and most legible Daytona Current 6 digit collection The OF Daytona’s are really comfortable but mentally I don’t know if i can justify paying 26k for a watch on a rubber band.
