16200 Datejust advice needed
I'm hoping the experts here can help me out. I'm considering adding a 16200 Datejust with black dial to my collection. I would prefer one between 2000 to the end of the 5 digit run. The problem is that I don't know some of the details of what I need to look for. How many links total should it have?
I am also curious if this model ever had solid end links, things like that. This one is a little too expensive, but it has the same dial as the later 6 digit reference models. Did Rolex do that near the end of this model's production run, or did someone change the dial afterward? https://watchchest.com/rolex-datejus...00-oyster.html I know Swiss watch expo has earned some less than positive reviews here, but this looks like what I'm looking for in my price range. What questions should I ask the dealer before buying? https://www.swisswatchexpo.com/watch...x-Papers-17443 Any other tips or pointers you can give me would be appreciated. Thank you |

I think the watchchest DJ doesn't have a matching dial. The sticks with lime should be 6 digit I believe. You won't have SEL and concealed crownclasp on these. Should be no-hole lugs in those years.
