Your camera should have a focus button, think you need to find it.

Those pics are WAY BETTER than the other day. I think you are getting better with that iPhone 7+ (I think that is what you said that you have). Nice Daytona!!

Yeah that's the phone I have, but I forgot to touch the screen, they could have been better. Yes I am really loving this Watch. As I said before for the money I paid for this I could have bought a S/S Daytona C at a very inflated but to be honest the S/S does nothing for me

Or maybe take a pic in the mirror, and give the cam space to focus itself.

Just hold the phone a couple of inches further away from the watch. It will focus better.

Thank you I will try that. I'm fairly old I would imagine, compared to most of the TRF members & it takes me a while to master something for the first time but I am learning all the time considering I have been a TRF member for nearly two years & have only found out this weekend how to post photos

I love the fact that members try and help out rather than criticize....very refreshing and a testament to the quality of people and discussion on here. Glad you're enjoying the watch Noel.

Better. I think you are too close for the camera to focus. Pull back a bit and try. Also try taking with the watch at an angle a bit. And please take this sticklers off :). Its yours you own it. Don't worry about what you could have gotten you made a good choice.

Thank you for the comment I will try that. To be honest I thought I had removed all the stickers. I keep finding more. I have checked the Watch again & I think I've removed them all now

I agree strongly about more distance. Even with a regular camera (not phone) it's easy to get out of focus pictures if the lens is too close to the watch. Images can be cropped to get more magnification of the watch. It's much better to have a lower mag shot that's in focus than a high mag shot that's out of focus.

As far as tilting the watch is concerned, depending on the depth of field of the camera this can cause part of the image to be in focus and part out of focus. That can be either good or bad depending what you're after. With a real camera, the aperture can be made smaller and exposure times increased to get better depth of focus. With a phone that's hard to do.

Yes I am taking all these suggestions on board anything that might improve the quality of the photo

Hi Noel,

Just another tip.

I find it difficult to take pix with my iPhone when I only use one hand.

I difficult to touch focus the screen when holding the phone in one hand.

Try some pix with the watch on a table and use both hands to operate the phone camera.

Yes I find it a bit difficult also, but in another thread before I opened this one I did take photos of the Watch in the box on the table & I think that they turned out alright

Beautiful watch Noel. And you’re definitely getting there with the pictures.

Another tip:

If you balance the phone on the fingers of your right hand, touch the watch as it appears on the screen with your right thumb to focus and then take the picture again with your thumb you should get perfect focus

Better and better, sir! As others have pointed out, I think a little more distance between your watch and your phone will let the camera focus a bit better. Watches can be hard to get good pictures of; dogs and kids are easier (in my opinion).

I would do so but I live alone & my children rarely come in as there's quite a bit of distance between us
