Diving for Gold - Seiko Turtle.....

These are going for about $300 on Amazon.

Not a bad buy, if you are digging for gold and don't have $30K for a Day-Date

Quite a good review, but the watch looks great if you make the video full screen:

Until I saw this video I didn't realise that the dial is a stunning very dark grey sunburst. Anyway looks interesting

I was looking at a review of this model the other day. I like it. Reminds me a little bit of the YG Grand Seikos from the late 60s/early 70s.

I think that vintage 18k Grand Seiko is just a lot cooler as a watch especially with the high beat movement.

I've been wearing my black Turtle this last week, its such a great watch.

Nice looking watch When I bought my SRPA21 there was a gold Turtle next to it. Love the rubber strap on it. Very comfortable. Not like the typical rubber straps that we are used to coming on Seiko dive watches

Yes Paulie, the standard Turtle silicone straps are velvet smooth, very flexible and comfortable.

I hope you are enjoying your Turtle

I kissed my brass goodby years ago but that gold turtle looks nice. Although my Turtle is heavily modded it's one of my favorite and most accurate watches. Can't beat the value and if it got lost, stolen, or destroyed, I would cry but only till the next one was quickly surrounding my wrist.

I love the turtle case but I can't see myself wearing that one. I guess I am just a stainless steel guy.

Lots of Seiko Turtle varieties, one is just the start!

I don't know why but I kind of like the idea of wearing a 'gold' diving watch that from a practical standpoint which is all wrong but looks like an expensive gold diving watch when it isn't.....

I hope that makes sense....because I'm finding hard to understand it myself

I saw that one in person last week when I bought mine. I think I could rock it.

I picked one up a few months ago, it's a fantastic watch (can't go wrong with a Seiko)! It is also my first foray into a gold watch, something I had never considered and I love it. As others have mentioned the pictures don't do the dial justice, especially in the sun the texture is stunning!

I love the look of all the bronze watch releases recently, but honestly I haven't been brave enough to jump into that yet, so this fit the bill without the upkeep/patina.
