Watch box for Rolex
Guys,
I am in desperate need of a watch box. Any recommendations from Rolex owners? I don't want to spend too much, but I also don't want something terribly cheap. I found that the pillow that come with the Rolex box is too big for my watch (I am afraid it may stretch the bracelet with time) so I would like to find a box that has smaller/softer pillows. Thoughts? Thank you! |

You should get an original Rolex box for your watch and use a different pillow so you don;t stretch the bracelet.
You should also check on age compatibility when buying a used Rolex box. Good luck with your search !

Just cannot understand why a thing like a pillow could possibly stretch SS.

Watch box for Rolex
I’ve got a few Wolf boxes and find them great. Get 20% off using “watchweb20” until end of August on the wolf website *
I don’t benefit from this btw!.

Fair question. My wrist is small, so I had to take four links out of the bracelet. Consequently, when I put the watch on the pillow I have to squeeze the pillow a lot to close the bracelet, since the circumference of the bracelet when closed is small. That puts the bracelet on a lot of pressure of the compressed pillow. But i may be wrong and this may be a non issue. It's just a concern to try and keep a very very expensive product in good shape. |

Bought this leather 4 watch box on amazon for like 40 bucks. Great build quality, really nice leather. No rolex in there because it's on my wrist! Lol

Solution; get a ribbon and tie it on the pillow as tight as you can and then your watch will fit over it. |

Guys,
Thank you for your suggestions. I was doing some research on these boxes you mentioned. My question now is: on the Wolf boxes, is the Windsor line worth the extra money or the are simpler cheaper ones enough? Thank you! |

I own this one. Overstock offers discounts all the time. Could probably pick one up for $50. Very nice case with presentation see through glass, which I like.

If you struggle to squish the Rolex box cushion small enough, I doubt you'll find the Wolf ones small enough.

Thank you for the information! Do you have any suggestions that would be good for my bracelet watches sized for a very small wrist?

One option would be to leave the clasp open when you put them away (in which case standard sized pillows would be fine, but what I would do is buy a watch box you like the look of and then buy a tube of correct diameter memory foam separately, such as thsi example (its a UK site but i'm sure you can get it locally) https://www.anyfoam.co.uk/?gclid=EAI...iAAEgLrRfD_BwE and make your own, perfectly sized pillows in a width to fit he slots.

No problem. Hopefully someone can make use of it. Just to explain, wolf did a ad campaign on my Instagram account and set up the code for the duration. So the ad I got paid for but the code and whoever uses it, I get nothing from. Hope it helps someone .

Guys,
Following up on this, maybe the information will be useful to someone else in the future. I bought one of the Wolf boxes to try it out (Windsor for 5 watches). As Devildog had predicted that pillows are not only way too big for my watches to fit in, but they are also rigid (the middle is kinda pliable, but their sides are stiff and can't be compressed at all). I also found very strange that the slot in the middle has a hole in it which is covered by a very sharp metal piece. It would be so easy to scratch a bracelet that it's not even funny. Anyway, this one is going back. Waiting on a few options. Thank you for your help! |
