Skydweller SS in 2 years or Two tone now

Hi all,
I’m in the market for a Stainless skydweller with black dial. I am on 3 waitlists and have a deposit at two places who are AD’s. However the word is 18-24 months (roughly) but no guarantee. The two tone yellow gold with black face is available now should I want it. However I feel that the stainless is a more breathtaking watch by the fact it has a waitlist. However I have yet to find anyone who has one in person I can view. For 3k more I can get the two tone but it’s clearly not as desirable. Is the consensus in the Rolex market the same? That the two tone is not as desirable? Any thoughts, help, opinions, advice would be appreciayed for this long time Breitling guy who wants to get his feet wet with his first Rolex.

Thanks.
