Thanks Patrick...yes, I have. It's much cheaper than collecting vintage Rolex, but just as interesting and just as much fun, but with none of the anxiety

These Seikos don't need to be certified to be extremely accurate.

My Turtle is running +2 seconds after 2 days....amazing.

It seems the more I wear it the better it becomes in timekeeping. A few months ago when I first got it, it was running at +10 seconds per day and gradually it has come down. I just hope it stops at +/- 0 seconds.

Is it true that new Seikos need a while to settle down?

This chrono above is almost 50 years old, and still running about +1 sec/day. My new turtle has been pretty stable at +8 since I got it.

Thanks Brian, it's 5625-7040. The '56' is the movement type, and '25' denotes a date complication. The 7040 signifies case style. The 5621 series had no date, while the 5626 had day and date
