It's time to push my boundaries again, it is a race in the southern part of the Netherlands and partially in Belgium as well, the Grizzly 100 trail, October 27.
Not too far from where I live.

It often gets to 30C which is unbearably hot IMO. But October should be around 10-15C usually with a good dose of rain, perfect!

1) What does your weekly training mileage total on average?
2) At what stage does the ‘wall hit ya’ in a distance like that when you just have to grunt and push through? Ex. marathon @ 20-22mi.

Oh currently I'm running about 80km a week, will ramp that up to 100km soon.

I even have a matching running shirt!

I will probably wear a Seiko on a rubber trap, a good portion of the run is in the dark, I don't want to slam my Rolex on a rock when I fall...

Very cool!!! Make sure you have a very good support crew with you. If the weather or terrain is questionable (being offroad), make sure your crew has plenty of socks and shoes that you can change. I'm sure you know all the "small" issues that can become HUGE at that distance. Good luck!!!

There is no wall, that only happens when you're pushing super hard for a marathon PR. Ultramarathons are slower paced, you'll have to properly eat and drink in order to finish.
You do get ups and down though, just focus on all the good in life and keep pushing on

No support crew, no pacer. Going in solo with my Salomon ADV skin pack. I might put some clean socks in it, and bodyglide

Ran 41.9km with 500m of elevation last Sunday, I didn't even have any soreness on Monday

I couldn't run a single kilometer consistently when I started, anyone with a healthy body and a strong mind can do this.
