WHAT TO SELL??? 1675 GMT or 116520 Daytona

Hi guys. So....I was offered a 116500 White this week from an AD and decided i HAD to take it!

My problem is that I MUST sell something to offset as I have a ton of other things going on. I have narrowed down my choice to sell as follows. I have a white 116520 Daytona from 2004 or a 1965 Pepsi GMT. I still have a black 116520 Black Daytona so I am not out the older model. I have 2 SAS Explorer II's that serve the GMT function. If I sold the 1675 it should match or be a bit more than the cost of the 116500 and the same goes for the 116520.

What do you think?

Sell white Daytona.

1675 is too scarce to let go of.

Sell the 116520, you will regret selling the 1675.

The obvious choice for me would be the 116520 especially since you're buying the new Daytona....question is how good is the 1675 you're thinking about? If it's just a mash pot of service parts/incorrect parts.....that might change my vote.

You will easily be able to get another white dial if you ever wanted to swap into the black 116520. For example, my Bluesy - I have a black dial and bezel that gives my flexibility should I want to switch.

Not as easy to get a nice 1675. Keep it - especially if it is your only vintage Rolex.

Yep! if it’s a great example of 1675 don’t sell it. Sell the Daytona.

Have to agree sell the white 116520. Love mine but it wears small and when you get the new one, you just won't be wearing the older model much is my guess.
The black 116520 and the white 116500 will make a very nice pair.
The 2 explorers make a nice pair.
Now you need a 16750 / 60 / 10 to pair your 1675 and you're done!

Given you're selling to fund the new white Daytona (congrats!) and already have another Daytona of the previous reference in black, this is a no brainer to me. Not very often you hear these words on this site...but sell the Daytona.
