FS: Seiko Marinemaster SBDX001

I purchased this Marinemaster in March, 2006 from Seiko AD Higuchi-Inc.com. Mr. Higuchi's store is in Oita, Japan. The SBDX001 was a Japan Domestic Market (JDM) timepiece.

I had the watch regulated and a sapphire crystal installed at Jack Alexyon's International Watch Works in 2008. The original undamaged Hardlex crystal is included in this sale.

In April, 2012 I returned it to Mr. Higuchi, who sent it on to Seiko Japan for routine service and replacement of the crown tube - a known issue with SBDX001 watches.

Since then, the watch has spent most of it's life in the safe, and is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. A recent two week run on wrist, table (manually wound twice) and winder averaged approximately -1.5 seconds/24 hours.

I seldom wore the watch on it's bracelet, preferring instead an Isolfane strap. The original Seiko rubber strap, and the Isofrane are included in this sale. All original bracelet links are included, as well.
