Which watch for an only, daily, 24/7 wearer - 114060 or 116500LN white dial?

A couple of weeks ago I picked up a 114060 and am really enjoying it so far, it's an incredible watch, something I could see myself wearing for years. But I just spoke with my AD and it looks like my name might be coming up on the list for a 116500LN white dial in the next couple of months -- a stunning piece, surely one that would be difficult (impossible?) to pass on from an AD.

I'm trying to find "the one", an only watch, that I can wear 24/7 and pass along to my son one day. Out of these two options, which would you choose if you could only pick one to wear every day and for every occasion?

Ultimately it will come down to personal preference, as I'm guessing both could fit the bill nicely and be equally versatile and durable. I'm really posting this looking for outside thoughts or opinions that I haven't considered.
